How to Make Favicons For my Website!

Favicons are those small icons that appear some web browsers address bar and bookmarks.

First, install open source Adobe Photoshop ICO plugin from Telegraphics.

Second, design a icon for a 16px X 16px space and save it as a ICO Windows Icon named “favicon.ico” (the name must be exact).

Third, upload the favicon.ico to the top level directory of your website.

Now, empty cache and refresh your site in the browser to see your new icon. Mac Safari caches all favicons in a directory the you must delete manual [read more]
